Moty Bank
CEO & Chairman of the Board
Moty's marketing vision and leadership skills played a major role in Sagarmatha's success. Previously, Moty served in executive positions leading Israeli consumer goods companies such as Strauss/Elite. Moty holds a BSc. In Computer Science and Mathematics and a MBA in Operational Research, both from Tel-Aviv University.
Shmulik Kaplan
Vice President, Technology
Shmulik leads the technology infrastructure and software development of all offered products and solutions. Prior to joining Sagarmatha, he worked at Eyron Ltd. where he served as Project Manager. He later joined Elbit Defense Systems as Avionic System Definition Team. Shmulik holds a BSC in Physics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
Asaf Efrima
Vice President, Products & Research
Asaf leads Sagarmatha's solutions and algorithm research teams. Prior to joining Sagarmatha in 2005, Asaf was a researcher at the IBM's R&D labs in Israel. Asaf holds an MSc (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel and a BSc (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University.
Chen Katz
Vice President, Global Sales
Chen leads Sagarmatha's global sales and business development growth. Brings extensive experience in selling complex technology based solutions to the mass retail market. Previously, Chen served as VP Sales at Retalix/NCR heading all customer related interfaces in Europe. Chen holds a B.A in Business Economics.
Eran Sarig
Vice President, Shopper Insight
Eran joined Sagarmatha in 2017 and is responsible for Sagarmatha shopper insight activities. Eran served in various senior sales and marketing positions where he led Shufersal loyalty club, managed the sales of StoreNext and as head of Trade Marketing for Strauss Group.
Yael Bdolah-Cnaan
Director, Retail Application Analytics
Among the first to join Sagarmatha, an accomplished expert in data mining and analytics, Yael heads the Apex Insight Discovery team as well as plays an integral role in software and algorithm development and online data sharing platform to retailer clients. Previously Yael served as Senior Software Engineer at ART Advanced Recognition (acquired by Nuance) where she developed handwriting and speech recognition algorithms. Yael holds a BSc (Cum Laude) in Statistics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University.
Asaf Gal
Director of Product
Asaf drives every aspect of Sagarmatha's product management starting from market research, competitor analysis and design thinking, through designing product roadmap and milestones, creating and maintaining product backlog and mockups, as well as monitoring development progress all the way to product release. Asaf has vast experience in product management & methodologies from small, midsize and large companies.
